free curriculum, real science, zero lab required

I built the Bioengineering for Sustainability workshop so any teacher, librarian, or club leader could run it, no biotech background needed. If you work with students and want to try it, let's talk.

What you get: a 3-unit syllabus (bioengineering basics, clean energy & water, real data collection), a DIY Lab Guide with 4 hands-on activities using jars and pH strips instead of lab equipment, and a Pre/Post Quiz to measure what actually stuck. Who it's for: middle schoolers through early high schoolers. Time: three 45-60 minute sessions, or one workshop day. Cost: under $30 in materials. Prerequisites: curiosity, that's it.

Our first pilot workshop ran in August 2026 with Gifted People Services, and it went well, we're now looking to grow into a few more classrooms, clubs, or community groups. I'll work with you to fit it into whatever time and space you've got, and real feedback from each new group is exactly what makes the next version better.
