About Erwin
I'm Erwin, founder of Project Dolly. I'm a high school student with a deep interest in biology and bioengineering, and I started this project because I believe these fields shouldn't be locked behind academic jargon, they're relevant to everyday life, from medical breakthroughs to environmental solutions to how we might feed people on a future space mission.
Project Dolly is where I put that belief into practice. I run my own original research (most recently a 21-day duckweed study on space agriculture and closed-loop life support), translate it and other bioengineering topics into fun, accessible content, and built an open-source workshop curriculum so other students and educators can teach this material hands-on, no lab required. My goal is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and everyday experience, and to get more people excited about what bioengineering can actually do.
